Sant Feliu de Guíxols is an important centre for active and sportive tourism. Apart from the great amount of aquatic and underwater proposals, the town has important natural resources such as the Coastal path and the routes for hiking or cycling through the Ardenya Massif and the Gavarres.
The town is also provided with a VIA FERRATA: A via ferrata is a climbing route in a rocky massif, equipped with nails, steps, steel cables, chains and other materials that make the itinerary easy for people who don’t usually climb, both in vertical and horizontal sections. The mountains and the adventure can be enjoyed in a safe and exciting way. This activity is suitable for adults and children, beginners or climbers with experience.
The Via Ferrata in Sant Feliu is the only one in Europe by the sea. The access is free, but you need to be equipped. The tour is divided into two parts: easy/medium and difficult. The users, who are halfway and do not wish to complete the difficult part, can come back to the starting point, going up by another path that has safety cables. The route is almost 500m long (ascent and descent) among rocky cliffs and has an average height of about 10m over the waves.
Starting point: At cala del Molí, in the middle of the coastal path that goes from Sant Feliu harbour to Sant Pol beach.
Aventura Experience has qualified guides with experience in this kind of activity. They rent all the equipment to do the activity.
The calendar of activities includes important EVENTS AND SPORTIVE COMPETITIONS that are carried out throughout the year:

We are working with the Catalan Tourist Board to certify our city as a SPORTS HOLIDAY DESTINATION to promote and trade the local tourist offer that is related with sports. This offer is for a specific group of people and is high-quality: top-level athletes, tourists who enjoy sports holidays, tourists who exercise in their free-time or the visitants who love major sporting events.
