Accessibility measures
We work to move towards a more accessible and inclusive tourist destination, progressively incorporating measures that facilitate access and participation for all people, regardless of their abilities. This commitment includes improving service areas, information, and tourism services.
Magnetic loops
The tourism office has magnetic loops to improve attention for people with hearing disabilities and facilitate clearer and more accessible communication in the public service area.
Access to the tourism office
Access to the Tourism Office is at street level and with a ramp, facilitating entry for people with reduced mobility.
Visual information
The tourism office has informational displays that facilitate visual communication and access to relevant information for visitors.
Inclusive visitor assistance
The Tourism Office offers close and adapted attention to the needs of each visitor, with the aim of guaranteeing an accessible, comfortable, and quality experience for everyone. Staff are available to offer support, resolve doubts, and facilitate information clearly and comprehensibly, taking into account the diversity of profiles and needs.
Digital accessibility
The tourism website and the City Council’s mobile app have been developed following digital accessibility criteria to ensure an inclusive and accessible user experience for everyone. Measures such as compatibility with screen readers, keyboard navigation, alternative text on images, a clear content structure, and adequate color contrast have been incorporated to facilitate reading and navigation.
The mobile application has been developed following the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines, also incorporating, where possible, Level AAA criteria.
