Cake Contest

*31st Contest: Home-made cakes: From 4pm to 9pm at La Rambla – Major St.

To take part in the contest; cakes must be delivered from 4 to 5pm. Different kind of cakes: cakes, tarts, crème caramel, púdings and sweet fritters. Once the cakes are delivered, they will belong to the organisation.

-From 5 to 6pm: Jury deliberation (3 professional pastry chefs of the town). The scores will be unquestionable.

-From 6pm: Degustation of 3 pieces of cake and a glass of tisana, previous donation of 4 € for the association Amics Ermita Sant Elm. A ticket for the raffle of a paella for 2 will be given.

-From 8pm: Jury’s verdict. Once the prizes will be given, the raffle for the paella will take place. If the winner is not there, the paella will be raffled again. There will be a first, second and third prize of each type of cake and a special prize for the best sweet fritters. A piece of cake and a glass of tisane will be given to all the contestants. They must accept the rules of the contest and the jury’s verdict.
