"Taula dels arstistes"

*”La Taula dels Artistes” (The Artists' Table): Catalonia World Gastronomy Region 2025. Once a month we will meet in a unique space in the city to meet an artist, share stories and enjoy a special tasting with a glass of local wine. In February, the theme will be Carnival and “la botifarra d’ou” (egg sausage). It will be presented at 12 noon in La Rambla. What is the origin of Carnival? What are the typical meals before Lent? How is egg sausage made? We will talk about sausages and Carnival traditions with Marc Palahí, son of the founders of the Can Miquel butcher shop, and with Emili Albó, Carnestoltes 2025 and member of the “Els Esventats” carnival group.
