The Artists’ Table
The Artists’ Table: Sea Urchins, The Sea, and Fishing
This year, Catalonia is the World Gastronomy Region, and in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, we want to celebrate it with what defines us: our diverse culture and our Ganxó spirit.
Each month, we’ll gather around this table, but in different locations across our town. Singular spaces that will offer new perspectives and nuances for every meeting. In each session, we will meet an artist, share stories, and enjoy a special tapa and a glass of local wine.
Because... what happens around a table?
A table is more than furniture and space. It’s conversation, it’s gathering, it’s the place where ideas take shape and emotions find a voice.
This month
What species of “sea urchins” exist? Why are they important for the ecosystem? How and in what ways are they fished? With Belén Caparrós, we will talk about this, climate change, and the evolution in the fishing world.
📍 At 12 pm on the beach of Sant Feliu.
