*Conference about Garreta: Literature, songs and dances: Juli Garreta’s sardanes. At 6pm at the Abat Panyelles room at the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Monastery. Among the sixty Garreta’s sardanes, we can discover modernist literary influences, such as L’alegria que passa and El pati blau by Santiago Rusiñol. The composer was also interested in songs of oral tradition from El cant dels ocells to La donzella de la costa. Led by Anna Costal, musicologist and teacher at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya.
