The City Council of Sant Feliu de Guíxols pays tribute to the artist Quimeta Serra in an exhibition held at the Casa Blasco, in the grounds of the Monastery, from 2nd to 31st August 2021.
This exhibition aims to showcase the latest of such a self-made and inspiring woman.
La Quimeta and her creation are the TOT (everything, the whole). Her delicacy, femininity, tenderness, innocence and beauty are inseparable.
This exhibition conveys her life trajectory through emotions. Its seas, its flowers, its ceramics, will take us on a path where serenity, passion, courage, effort and tenderness are the protagonists. A lesson of life, an exhibition made from the heart. Do not miss it.
CARMEN THYSSEN SPACE EXHIBITION, “UNIVERSE GUINOVART”
From July 31st to October 17th
Location: Monastery of Sant Feliu de Guíxols
General admission 5€ and reduced 3.50€
Univers Guinovart is an exhibition held in coordination with the Espai Guinovart and the Espai Carmen Thyssen, with the presence of pieces from various museums and collections in the country. The viewer has multiple itineraries to choose from. You can see more than fifty works, made between 1948 and 2007, that make an anthological discourse. In this way, homage is paid to the character of open work with which the artist defined the reason for his plastic research: the gaze of the public that embraces its meaning and significance.
Josep Guinovart is a multifaceted artist who has worked in painting, sculpture, illustration, tapestry ... During his long career he received the most relevant awards and distinctions in the world of the arts.
The exhibition will be open to the public from July 31 to October 17. Guided tours are available. You will find all the information on the Espai Carmen Thyssen website www.espaicarmenthyssen.com

From 31st July to 12th September from 11 am to 8 pm
From 13th September until 17th October, from Monday to Friday 10 am to 1.30 pm and from 3 pm to 5.30 pm, on Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm.
