Literature is a strange place where fiction and reality mix, where the narrator is never completely reliable, and where what is told has something to do with the truth but is never pure reality. In recent years, what are called “first-person narratives” have increased—novelized life experiences—but this literary genre has existed for many years. We will explore cases where distinguishing reality from fiction becomes a real challenge.

*Art in the Feminine. Silenced but Not Absent Women Creators in Art History. Led by our dear Pilar Giró. Fridays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (from 02/06/26 to 04/24/26). This course proposes a journey through art history from a perspective often ignored: that of women creators. Many were made invisible, signed by men, relegated to the role of muses, or directly erased from official narratives. Yet, they were there. And they created. We will explore the lives and works of painters, sculptors, architects, photographers, and other artists who defied imposed silence, from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Location: Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
