Swimming channel
stretching from the south beach area of Sant Feliu to Cala Vigatà. The marked swimming channel is 2.000 metres long. The use of wetsuits, brightly coloured swimming hats and marker buoys are recommended, although there are demarcation buoys to advise boats. There are areas where you can exit the water on foot up until Cala de Port Salvi. The currents inside the channel are usually strong; if you are not an experienced swimmer, it is advisable to go around the outside. It is important to check the weather forecast, bearing in mind the fact that sea conditions can vary considerably once past the Punta de Garbí.
