Bathing Areas and Swimming Channels

Sant Feliu de Guíxols offers several marked areas for safe swimming and open water swimming, all within a privileged natural environment.

Sant Feliu Bay
The swimming channel stretches from the harbour entrance to El Freu, allowing swimmers to cross the bay safely, separated from boat traffic. There is also a designated bathing area on the main beach.

Sant Pol Bay
The swimming channel follows the coast from the bathing area at Sant Pol beach to Cala dels Mussols, providing a safe open-water swimming route.

At Cala del Vigatà, there is a designated bathing area, although no swimming channel is installed.

The use of a wetsuit, brightly coloured swim cap, and a safety buoy is recommended, even when buoys are in place to mark the limits for boats.
