4. Water sports

Sant Feliu de Guíxols coast is full of contrasts. Rocky or sandy coves lay amid steep cliffs. From the south, coves and beaches like Canyerets, Cala Vigatà and Port Salvi must be pointed out, which extend up to the bay of Sant Feliu. To the north, Sant Pol beach still preserves the beauty of its 19th century buildings with clear, calm and shallow waters.

The harbour itself caters for leisure, merchant and fishing vessels. It is the connecting point between the town and its seafaring origins, the result of a close link with the Mediterranean sea, which has remained to the present day. A stroll to the lighthouse reveals the link between the town Sant Feliu de Guíxols and the sea. We can practise a great deal of water sports on the beach: sailing, scuba diving, guided dives, fishing trips, kayak, windsurf, waterskiing, surfing, skibus. Boats with or without captain can be hired to discover the coast from the sea.

You can also enjoy the Swimming Channel, a signposted and signposted marine route that allows the safe practice of swimming in open water and light diving (snorkelling). The Sant Feliu de Guíxols Swimming Channel is 1.8 km long. There are also other marked channels: one in Cala de l'Ametller and the other from Sant Pol beach to Cala de n'Oliu. You can check the exact location on the map.
